Devil’s Bowl Speedway Postpones Dirt Track Championships to Monday

Sportsman Modified 100, SCoNE Sprint Cars to run Monday, September 4

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway officials have postponed the Dirt Track championship finale scheduled for Sunday, September 3 to Monday, September 4, due to expected rain on Sunday. The event will now begin at an early start time of 5:00 p.m. on Labor Day Monday.

The Stove Depot will present racing action for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, the Sprint Cars of New England, and the Catamount Mini Sprint club on Monday evening. The Central Vermont Motorcycles Sportsman Modified division will run 100 laps as the main event, and track champions in five divisions will be crowned. Kenny Tremont Jr. leads Tim LaDuc by just five points for the Sportsman track title entering the race.

General admission for Monday’s event will be $20 for adults, $18 for seniors (age 62+), $5 for teenagers (age 13-17), and free for kids age 12 and under. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and racing will begin at 5:00 p.m.
