Weather Forces Another Dirt Track Rainout on Sunday, June 5

Sportsman Modified Twin 25s to open season on Sunday, June 12

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway’s Dirt Track season opener has once again been cancelled due to impending rain. A 100-percent chance of rain on Sunday, June 5 has forced officials to once again pull the plug on the action. The weather has now halted action on the 3/10-mile Dirt Track at Devil’s Bowl Speedway for five straight weeks including three races and two practice sessions.

As a result, the new season opener for the Dirt Track is now on Sunday, June 12 at 6:00 p.m., as Brown’s Quarried Slate and Brown’s Orchard & Farm Stand present Twin 25-lap feature races for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series-sanctioned Central Vermont Motorcycles Sportsman Modifieds. The Rosen & Berger Renegades and Portland Glass Mini Stocks will also be in action.

Regular general admission on Sunday, June 12 will be $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and free for kids age 12 and under. All general admission grandstand tickets and pit pass wristbands purchased on May 22 will be honored on June 12. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m., with racing at 6:00 p.m.
