Interstate All Battery Center Night rained out at Devil’s Bowl Speedway

Northern Modified Challenge Series at Canaan, NH still on for Sunday

WEST HAVEN, VT – Devil’s Bowl Speedway will suffer another cancellation on Friday, August 9, as heavy rains and a forecast that includes possible flooding in the West Haven, VT area have wiped out Interstate All Battery Center of Rutland Night presented by Green Mountain Water Environment Association.

The event was scheduled to include NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing for the Bond Auto Parts Modified, Late Model, Renegade, and Central Vermont Motorcycles Mini Stock divisions, as well as kids’ racecar rides and Spectator Racing. No rescheduling announcements have been made to date.

The Northern Modified Challenge Series, a new five-race championship sanctioned by Devil’s Bowl Speedway management, will make its maiden voyage to New Hampshire’s Canaan Fair Speedway on Sunday, August 11 for the Subway Fresh Fit 50. Devil’s Bowl Speedway’s next event is Brown’s Quarried Slate/Brown’s Orchard & Farm Stand Night, scheduled for Friday, August 16 at 7:00pm. Twin 25-lap features for the Bond Auto Parts Modified division are scheduled, along with Late Models, Central Vermont Motorcycles Mini Stocks, and round three of the wild and crazy Enduro Series. Regular general admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and free for children 12 and under.
