Online ticket sales only; health restrictions in place
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway has been permitted to allow a limited number of spectators to attend its third stock car racing event of the 2020 season on Sunday, June 28. In keeping with guidelines set by the State of Vermont’s COVID-19 regulations, the Rutland County track has released 300 advance sale tickets for Sunday’s event.
Tickets are only for sale online through Eventbrite on a first-come-first-served basis; no tickets will be sold at the track. Fans will be required to either print their own tickets or show their ticket on their smartphone. Tickets are $15 each, plus a $2.55 online service fee. Because ticket sales are so strictly limited, there will not be a senior or child discount at Sunday’s event. Season passes will be honored on Sunday.
Fans will be required to select seating in one of two grandstand sections, which are limited to 150 people each. Each grandstand section will be sealed off from the rest of the facility with its own entry gate, its own restroom and wash station, and its own service window at the food concession stand. Due to state regulations and group size requirements, fans will not be permitted to intermingle with those in other sections of the facility. Likewise, competitors and other pit pass holders will not be permitted to enter either of the grandstand sections.

Face masks will be required for all spectators on Sunday, June 28. In the event of a weather-related cancelation, all tickets purchased online would be honored for the same seating arrangements on Sunday, July 5.
“We are happy to be able to bring some of our fans back for Sunday’s race,” Devil’s Bowl Speedway promoter Mike Bruno said. “This is still not an ideal situation, but it’s a start. We will be able to increase spectator availability moving forward – including for our special event on Thursday, July 2 – if everyone adheres to the rules on Sunday. We continue to work very closely with state officials, and we are anticipating more good news coming soon.”
All five weekly racing divisions will be at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, with the Pepsi Sportsman Modified, O’Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman, Super Stock, Mini Stock, and Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints in action.
